Taste of Split
Day 01 SPLIT arrival
Arrival and check in at the hotel. Depending on the arrival a typical Mediterranean lunch will be organized in a local restaurant. Upon arrival a
guided walking tour of Split, a 1700-year-old city located in the heart of Central Dalmatia, will be organized. The
Roman emperor Diocletian ruled the world from this city, leaving an inheritance of architecture that takes ones breath away. Welcome dinner will be held in one of the most famous local restaurants in the city. Overnight.
Day 02 SPLIT – NATIONAL PARK KRKA – TROGIR - SPLIT
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning transfer to the
National Park of Krka where a traditional lunch will be served inside the park. With its seven travertine
waterfalls and total drop off 242 meters the
Krka river is a natural work of art. The diversity of flora and fauna as well as diverse
educational walk trails and boat excursions offer a one of a kind experience you can only find in Croatia. After lunch transfer to
Trogir, the little Venice of Croatia, a town-museum of medieval heritage. Its history goes back to the Hellenic times when it was known as Tragurion.
UNESCO recognized its values and included it in the registry of world heritage monuments in 1997. Trogir is also a place of various tourist facilities, its quaint narrow streets, city square and loggia and exceptional restaurants where a farewell dinner will be served. Return to Split and overnight.
Day 03 SPLIT departure
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the Split airport for departure.
